Due to the weather conditions forecast for tomorrow, the forest fire risk level (drought and wind) is considered very severe this Monday, July 28th, in the Bouches-du-Rhône department, for the third consecutive day.
This weekend, several fires were reported in the department, notably in Fos, at the ArcelorMittal site, Martigues, and Châteauneuf-les-Martigues. For this reason, the prefecture has decided to strictly prohibit entry to all forests in the Bouches-du-Rhône department, marked red on the map tomorrow, Monday, July 28, 2025.
These are the following 25 forests :
From the Alpilles to the Calanques, the 25 massifs concerned Alpilles, Arbois, Calanques, Cap Canaille, Castillon, Chaîne des Côtes, Chambremont, Gardanne Hills, Concors, Côte Bleue, Etoile, Garlaban, Grand Caunet, Lançon, Les Roques, Montagnette, Montaiguet, Pont de Rhaud, Quatre Termes, Regagnas, Rougadou, Sainte-Baume, Sainte-Victoire, Sulauze, Trevaresse
Access, presence, and movement of people, as well as work, are strictly prohibited. Mapping of access, presence, and movement of people in the Bouches-du-Rhône forest areas is made public for each area and for the 90 municipalities concerned, at 5 p.m. for the following day, on the prefecture’s website: https://www.risque-prevention-incendie.fr/13 Another map concerning work is also available.
